I absolutely love to travel. It is truly my passion to meet new people, experience new cultures, and eat new foods. I also like to sing. I fell in love with music when I first heard Bryan Adam's "Please Forgive Me".

About Me

I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte studying International Public Relations. When i graduate, I hope to
further my education by attending law school. I want to practice international law focusing on human rights.

While in high school I worked as an after school camp counselor for the local Boys and Girls club. It was there that I first got the chance to charlotte">tutor children. I tutored them Monday through Friday throughout the school year and it was an awesome experience to be able to watch them grasp new concepts and grow. Now that I am in college and also in a sorority that focuses on community service, I volunteer at local public schools in Charlotte and charlotte">tutor in-need students at their after-school programs.

As a charlotte">tutor, my approach is what I like to call the 'P&R", patience and repetition. I noticed early on in middle school that the classes that I succeeded in were classes where the teacher was really patient and made us practice and repeat the concepts so it would stick. I also do not believe in just simply giving the students answers. I focus on teaching them the study skills they will need to succeed in all of their courses.
