One passion people quickly learn about me is that I ABSOLUTELY enjoy getting to know people! Any time I have a chance, I meet new people and get to know them to help make me a better person. Other hobbies I have are swimming, tennis, and hiking. Although I am horrible at it, I really want to learn how to swing dance. Someday soon, I hope to learn this amazing type of dance!

About Me

I am a student currently attending the University of Utah. I haven't decided what my major is but I hope to find that soon. When I graduate, I hope to attend Stanford University to earn a PhD degree to a major I'm still currently deciding upon. My ultimate goal is to do the best I can in everything I do!

Experience

As a former tutor of Kumon Math and Reading, I had the opportunity to tutor students weekly in all area subjects, specifically math and reading. I love to work with children and help them grow not only as students, but as a better person. It drove me to become a volunteer for the Red Cross as I felt like I needed to make the world a better place.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be a huge challenge. I was blessed to have people help me get through it, through consistent encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
