About Me

I am finishing a Master's Degree for Education at Western Govenor's University. I have worked for three years in both middle and high school supporting students with behavioral and emotional support needs. I am always looking to expand my knowledge and skills. I love getting to know people and working one on one as a team towards a common goal.

Experience

I have a vast array of experience in tutoring and one on one instruction. While in undergrad I tutored fellow college students in algebra and statistics. I also spent three years in a middle and high school mainly working one on one with students who needed extra support. I worked with students on a variety of topics and had to adapt to their learning style. I have also spent over 100 hours doing online one on one tutoring. The majority of the time of this tutoring has been for state required ed

Approach

I find great satisfaction and joy from working with people one on one. It allows me to connect with them, find how they best learn and adapt my instruction to match it. It is also incredibly satisfying seeing someone who has struggled with a topic have it click. I always try to find small victories when working even if it seems the overall goal is far away. Tutoring is very rewarding for both myself and the client!
