I am a 6'0 ft male, besides engineering and mathematics I spent my time playing sports; my favorite sport growing up was basketball, I spent a lot of time playing basketball and also playing the game of chess. Throughout my life I have obtained a lot of awards and trophies for both basketball and chess. My favorite subjects are engineering, mathematics, and science.I have also played volleyball, bowling, and football. I have one sister who plays college lacrosse. Throughout my childhood I watche

About Me

I am currently a Senior Research Student, majoring in electrical and computer engineering at Morgan State University (MSU). I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout my early years as a teen I developed a passion and love for the world of mathematics and engineering. During my time as a student, I have conducted engineering research with Morgan State University and also with NASA. My short term goals are to complete college and obtain my Masters Degree, and my long term goals are to eventually to create a engineering consulting firm and also be apart of a foundation to help minorities obtain scholarship money for school.
My research experiences have allowed me present research at many events and conferences across the United and States. All of my previous internships and research experiences, serve as motivation to create innovative ideas in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Throughout my time as a student I have worked as a teacher assistant, brooklyn">tutoring college students in calculus and pre-calculus courses, as well as helping brooklyn">tutor and mentor new research students.
As a student it is easier for me to relate with other students, throughout my experiences with brooklyn">tutoring I have come to understand that all students are different from one another and some people may be faster or slower. I try to ease my way into transition new topics to students, and in some cases depending on the student it is always good to compare the material to every day life or hobbies of the individual that is receiving the brooklyn">tutoring. I have a strong belief that all students are capable of learning.
