When looking at students who truly need my help in improving their language skills, either conversational Mandarin or Cantonese should not be a big problem for them to pick up.

About Me

I am a native Chinese speaker who initially sp Taishanese, one of the Chinese dialects. I am fluent in Mandarin, and Cantonese, and more importantly I am able to speak, read, and write the language in simplified Chinese. Even though I was not able to write in traditional Chinese, I am able to read and speak.

Experience

I was a tutor in Castelar Elemetary School for about a month in year 2003 as a fifth grade teacher assistant. As I also spoke elementary level Spanish, I was able to offer help in that class. Another experience was that I taught as a volunteer foreign substitute English teacher in FengCaiHuaQiao Middle School in Kaiping, Guangdong Province in China. That was my middle school where I picked up most of English.

Approach

I had been through the hard way to get to where I am today, and I would like to use and share my experiences to those in the future who will be my students to be more successful than I was. Having the guidance of a shortcut would definitely enhance students' ability in learning.
